We’d love to hear from you if you:
Have 2-year degree in
SH&E (4-year degree preferred) or equivalent degree
Have 5+ years’ experience in a medium to heavy
industrial safety coordinator role
Have Knowledge of state and local regulations like
OSHA, EPA, etc. You will be responsible for:
Outlining and implementing training programs to educate and inform workforce on work safety, environmental safety, and accident prevention regulations and procedures.
Documenting accidents to understand causes and recommend changes to prevent future accidents.
Performing inspections and audits of facilities, equipment, and processes recommending corrections or additional precautions to ensure compliance with established regulations.
Developing standard procedures, along with safe and environmentally friendly work practices to protect the safety of the company’s employees.
Ensuring all reporting requirements are met for all Federal, State, and local regulations.
Enhancing the safety performance of the company.
Managing timely reporting of worker compensation claims, accommodations for return to work, and interface with Risk Management to ensure appropriate employee care and case management.
Reporting any potential violations of Safety immediately to Management.
Ensuring employees and contractors are properly trained for the duties they are required to perform.
