Key Responsibilities
Design & Documentation: Lead the architectural design process and manage the development of construction documents (drawings and specifications).
Project Management: Oversee the budget, schedule, and timeline for new construction and tenant improvement projects, ensuring quality and adherence to design standards.
Team Leadership: Direct and mentor junior staff and coordinate with engineering consultants, contractors, and internal teams to achieve project goals.
Client & Consultant Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, presentations, and jurisdictional reviews, ensuring seamless communication.
Quality Assurance: Review drawings, ensure compliance with building codes and regulations, and maintain quality standards throughout the project.
Construction Administration: Manage construction administration tasks, including site visits and responding to contractor questions to ensure the design intent is carried through. Required Skills and Qualifications
Education: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited university.
Experience: 8-10+ years of experience as a Project Architect, with significant experience in commercial, healthcare, retail, hospitality, or office tenant improvements.
Software Proficiency: High proficiency in architectural design software, especially Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Suite.
Licensure: An architectural license (such as NCARB certification or a state license) is preferred but not required.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, consultants, and project teams.
