Responsibilities:
Install and connect skid wiring from control panel to electrical devices
Install rigid and flexible conduit and associated wiring
Build electrical panels I.A.W. electrical drawings and project documentation
Order electrical materials for project builds
Troubleshoot electrical systems including 480VAC, 120VAC, 24VDC and 4-20mA
Use P&ID drawings, specifications and AVANTech standards to build and test electrical systems which are safe, meet code, are acceptable to our customers, and meet AVANTech's quality standards
Inspect and test assembled components
Coordinate factory acceptance testing of complete systems
Interact with operators, technicians and engineers to clarify schematics and assembly questions
Travel to customer sites, foreign and domestic locations, with no or minimal supervision to complete commissioning in a timely manner; average 1 to 3 weeks per year.
Complete miscellaneous maintenance assignments
Any other duties as assigned by supervisor What Will Set You Up for Success:
Two-year electrical or electronics technical degree or five years of experience or comparable military education
Three plus years of electrical installation and troubleshooting experience
Panel building experience
The ability to read and follow electrical and mechanical prints
The ability to read and comprehend component manuals
The ability to perform various mechanical tasks
Strong knowledge of NEC electrical codes
Adaptability to changing project requirements and schedules
Critical thinking with exceptional problem-solving skills, able to work independently or in a team environment
AdditionalRequirements
Allcandidates must be able to pass a drug test, pre-employment physical, andbackground investigation.
Highawareness of safe working practices and procedures.
JobType & Compensation:
Hourly rate is $28 - $38 per hour based on experience
Full-time, hourly, nonexempt.
