Position Overview
Reporting to the classroom teacher and school leadership team, Instructional Aides play a vital role in supporting the daily academic and social success of students by:
Assisting with classroom instruction and management
Supporting individual and small group learning
Promoting a positive and inclusive classroom environment

Meaningful Impact in an Urban Charter School Setting Key Responsibilities:
Provide instructional support under the guidance of the classroom teacher
Help students stay engaged and on-task during lessons
Assist with classroom organization and behavior management
Monitor student progress and provide feedback to staff
Support students with special needs or Individualized Education Programs
Encourage a respectful and inclusive classroom environment
Support arrival/dismissal, lunch, and transition periods as needed Qualifications & Skills:
Experience working with school-aged children in an educational setting
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Patience, flexibility, and a passion for helping students learn and grow
Ability to follow teacher and administrative directions with professionalism Work Environment:
K-12 public charter school setting
Active, student-centered classrooms
Regular collaboration with teachers and school staff
