What to Expect As a Production Supervisor, you will play a critical role on the Production team, leading a team of Associates and Leads to manage operations and drive key manufacturing metrics. You will collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, NPI, and Material Flow to meet production goals while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency on the manufacturing floor. This role requires a hands-on leadership approach, strong organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do
Build, coach, and develop a high-performing production team, ensuring training and hiring plans align with business needs
Drive production performance metrics (efficiency, quality, safety, throughput, costs) and implement process improvements
Empower teams to collaborate with Engineering to improve manufacturability, resolve bottlenecks, and enhance productivity
Ensure quality standards are met throughout production, preventing defects from leaving the station or team area
Maintain and develop Standardized Manufacturing Instructions and ensure compliance with operating procedures
Oversee Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) compliance, ensuring workplace safety, training completion, and incident resolution
Manage shift schedules, workforce planning, and shift-to-shift communication to ensure smooth production operations
What You'll Bring
3 plus years of leadership experience in high-volume manufacturing, preferably managing direct reports
Experience in hiring, training, and developing teams with a focus on continuous improvement
Ability to analyze and develop production performance metrics to drive operational excellence
Strong problem-solving and organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing demands under pressure
Excellent communication skills, with experience interfacing with executives and cross-functional teams
Proficiencyin Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with manufacturing systems
Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends, as needed
