Job Title: Trainee - Video Content

Job Summary: The Video Content Trainee will assist in all aspects of creating video content for the Kansas City Royals. This includes shooting events, editing videos and being involved with the creative process. Candidates need to have experience with Sony cinema cameras and advanced knowledge editing with Adobe Premiere.

Position Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

Produce, shoot and edit video content for the Kansas City Royals. Platforms include social media, in-stadium and television

Capture events, interviews and game footage for editing

Act as Production Assistant or Grip on large production shoots

Actively participate in the creative development process

Assist in day-to-day production operations

Assist with footage requests and administrative duties

Other duties as assigned Position Qualifications, Skills, and Experience Required:

You must include your professional production reel with your resume to be considered

Minimum of one year professional/freelance experience shooting and editing videos

Experience operating Sony cinema style cameras such as: fx9, fx6, fx3, a7s, fs5

Advanced skills in Adobe Premiere

Familiarity with Mac OS

Candidates must be creative, enthusiastic, willing to learn and self-driven

Demonstrate the ability to handle numerous projects simultaneously & meet deadlines

Willing to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays

One-year commitment Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift items weighing as much as 25 pounds

Must be able to work in a seated position for majority of workday

Must be able to be productive utilizing a computer keyboard and telephone

Must be able to be productive in a work environment where the noise level can be high at times

Specific vision abilities include close vision and ability to adjust focus

Must be comfortable walking to navigate the facility to access the office, concourse, etc.

Must be able to work extended hours and/or weekends as required by deadlines and event scheduling
