Description

The Hofstra College of Liberal Arts and Sciences is pleased to invite applications for multiple Adjunct Professor/Instructor positions in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Hofstra University. The Department of Physics and Astronomy welcomes applications in the field of Physics.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Teach introductory calculus-based or algebra-based physics labs servicing multiple STEM major programs. Qualifications

An MS/MA in physics, or a related STEM field. Preferred Quals Summary

PhD degree in physics, preferred.

Salary/Salary Range

$1,442-$1,669 per credit

Hofstra University provides the above salary* as a good faith estimate of the starting pay range which considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience and education. In addition to the salary offered, we offer a collegial and inclusive culture, and a benefits program which includes generous paid time off, paid holidays, tuition remission for employees and eligible dependents, and a retirement plan with University contributions.
