Title: Life Enrichment Manager
Job Type: Full time, Onsite
Do you thrive in a role where creativity, purpose, and leadership intersect?
We’re looking for a dynamic, mission-driven leader to manage our Life Academy — a hands-on initiative designed to help young adults with diverse abilities build the skills, confidence, and independence they need to thrive at work and in daily life.
As the Life Enrichment Manager, you’ll design, develop, and lead a blend of campus-based and community-integrated experiences that strengthen employment skills, promote independence, and foster personal growth. You’ll work closely with participants and their families — building trust, fostering collaboration, and ensuring services are meaningful and impactful.
You’ll also lead and develop a dedicated team, build partnerships with local organizations, and ensure smooth, compliant, and effective operations. No two days will look the same — and that’s exactly the point.
What You’ll Do
Create and lead Life Academy initiatives focused on employment skills, life skills, and community integration
Design engaging, skill-building experiences based on participant strengths and interests
Supervise, train, and support staff; promote their professional growth
Build and maintain partnerships with local employers, vendors, community resources, and funding sources
Ensure compliance with OSHA, DWD, Family Care, IRIS, and other regulations and contracts
Manage budgets, billing, and performance goals; report results to the VP of Mission Services
Develop and maintain educational curricula, training plans, and life skills development opportunities
Promote the Life Academy through outreach, community involvement, and relationship building
Deliver high-quality services that foster strong, positive relationships with participants and funding partners What We’re Looking For
Creative, forward-thinking leader with experience in vocational, educational, or life skills programming
Background working with individuals who have intellectual, developmental, or behavioral barriers
Skilled at motivating teams, building relationships, and executing ideas
Able to manage initiatives with attention to structure, outcomes, and continuous improvement
Strong business acumen and ability to balance budgetary, compliance, and operational responsibilities. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in human services, education, business, or related field — or equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum 3 years of management or leadership experience in a related field
Experience supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental barriers
Knowledge of community resources, vocational programming, and workforce readiness
Understanding of compliance requirements (OSHA, DWD, funders, etc.)
Strong communication, organization, and data management skills
Why This Role Matters
Life Academy is more than a service — it’s a place where skills, confidence, and independence flourish. As the Life Enrichment Coordinator, you’ll shape that journey by blending creativity, structure, and opportunity into a powerful, future-focused experience for participants and their families.
If you’re ready to lead with heart, inspire participants, guide a dedicated team, and bring bold ideas into action — we’d love to hear from you!
