General Description of Position

Under the general supervision of the Director of Continuing Education Healthcare, the Adjunct Instructor, is responsible for providing content expertise and facilitating educational seminars.

Governing agencies that establish criteria for healthcare professionals typically require facilitators to support their knowledge with supporting evidence on a topic and compose a solid presentation that helps others understand and learn the subject through lectures and/or labs.

Competencies desired: Communicating fluently with diverse healthcare teams, facilitating small or large group discussions, applying credentials, and providing references for evidence-based content to qualify a class for continuing education units are desired in a successful candidate. This is a part-time temporary position.
