Position Overview
We are seeking qualified Security Guards (Armed, Unarmed, and Mobile) to provide protection and security across a variety of client sites. This role involves safeguarding personnel, facilities, equipment, and classified materials against unauthorized access, theft, or destruction. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong situational awareness, sound judgment, and the ability to respond effectively to emergencies.
Key Responsibilities
Provide unarmed, armed, and mobile security guard services
Monitor and control access to designated areas (ingress/egress)
Protect government and private property, classified materials, and personnel
Observe and report suspicious activity or security breaches
Respond to alarms, emergencies, and unusual incidents
Enforce safety and security rules and regulations
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of post orders and security protocols
Complete accurate, timely written reports and logs
Perform additional duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Must possess and maintain a valid state-issued security guard license, as required by law
Valid U.S. driver's license and U.S. passport
Active security clearance preferred (e.g., Secret, Top Secret, or equivalent); candidates without clearance may still be considered.
High school diploma or GED
Minimum 2 years of armed security or 1 year of law enforcement experience OR Minimum 2 years of honorable U.S. military service
TCCC certification required (minimum); EMT certification preferred
Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearance and licenses
Physically capable of standing 12-hour shifts and responding to emergency situations
Strong written and verbal English communication skills
Firearms training and certification in compliance with state/federal regulations
Must pass:
Background investigation
Drug screening
Pre-employment physical
Medical and psychological evaluations
MRPT suitability requirements (if applicable)
Preferred Qualifications
Military Service (Service-2 or Member-4 DD-214)
Prior experience securing government facilities or convoys
Demonstrated weapons proficiency and qualifications
Experience with fixed-site and mobile security operations
Private sector PSD or EP training State Department or WPS equivalent preferred if no State Department, DOD, or Law Enforcement protection training
Working Conditions
Work may include long periods of sitting, standing, or walking
Exposure to outdoor elements, extreme temperatures, noise, and physical hazards
May involve night shifts, weekends, holidays, and extended hours
May require wearing protective gear (e.g., respirators, body armor)
Must be capable of working under stress in high-risk environments
Physical Requirements
Capable of heavy physical work, including running, lifting, and engaging in physical confrontations
Must pass fitness assessments as required by the contract
Ability to navigate stairs, inclines, and uneven terrain
Visual and auditory acuity for operating security equipment and firearms
Travel may be required based on assignment

On-call team members are contacted as opportunities arise and may be asked to work evenings, weekends, or holidays depending on operational requirements.
