Job Summary
Familiar Roads Home Healthcare is hiring caring and dependable Direct Care Workers (DCWs) to support clients in Montrose and throughout Susquehanna County. This is a meaningful opportunity to help seniors and individuals with disabilities live independently and with dignity in their own homes.
Qualifications (Required)
Applicants must meet the following Pennsylvania state and agency requirements:
Completed Competency Exam or PA-compliant training program per Department of Health (DOH) standards
Current CPR Certification
Recent TB Test & Physical Exam (within the past 12 months) — QuantiFERON-TB Gold or equivalent accepted
Proof of Pennsylvania Residency for the past two (2) years
Two (2) Valid Professional References
Clear Criminal Background Check
Ability to speak, read, and write English proficiently
Neat appearance and practices good personal hygiene
Responsibilities
Assist with personal hygiene (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting)
Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
Light housekeeping and laundry duties
Mobility and transfer assistance
Non-clinical medication reminders
Observe and report changes in client condition
