TownePlace Suites Burnet is gearing up for an exciting grand opening, and we’re searching for an experienced, driven, and strategic Director of Sales to lead the hotel’s commercial success from the ground up. This is a unique opportunity to build a sales culture, launch a new Marriott-branded hotel in a rapidly growing market, and shape long-term demand strategies before doors even open. Responsibilities: The Director of Sales will be responsible for developing and executing a proactive sales strategy to ramp up revenue pre-opening and drive continued growth post-opening. This role will focus heavily on extended-stay market segments, including corporate, medical, government, project, and relocation business. The ideal candidate thrives in a business-minded environment and enjoys building strong partnerships within local and regional markets. • Develop and implement a comprehensive pre-opening and post-opening sales strategy. • Build relationships with key accounts and top demand generators across extended-stay verticals. • Solicit and secure long-term contracts, project crews, corporate negotiated business, and relocation partnerships. • Conduct sales calls, account presentations, site tours, and local market outreach. • Collaborate with revenue management and operations teams to optimize rate strategy and maximize profitability. • Represent the hotel at community and industry networking events. • Track and forecast revenue performance against budget and pipeline goals. Qualifications: • Extended stay hotel experience is required (Marriott extended stay brands strongly preferred). • Prior sales leadership experience in a select-service or extended-stay hotel environment. • Proven success in developing negotiated accounts and long-term stay business. • Pre-opening hotel experience is a plus, but not required. • Strong communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills. • Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently and strategically. Compensation: $65,000 - $75,000 +bonus potential

Compensation:

$65,000-$75,000 per year
