Job description:

POSITION PURPOSE: Maintain and repair of Guernsey Rental/Loan/Sale brewers or water dispensing equipment in the VA, DC, and MD areas. 1. Perform routine maintenance on machines including filter changes and cleaning of machines. 2. Completing all calls in a timely manner. 3. Keeping the maintenance of the work truck current (including but not limited to oil changes, turn signals, light bulbs, and windshield wipers). Report any truck maintenance problems immediately to the Technical Service Manager or Warehouse Manager. Provide details. 4. Maintaining a clean vehicle (inside and outside) at all times. 5. Maintain a specific parts inventory and tools on the truck for the repair of machines in the field. 6. Providing a positive attitude. 7. Other duties as directed. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Excellent customer service skills (friendly, courteous and helpful). Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment with associates. Required to be able to follow verbal instructions. Ability to read and interpret street maps. Must maintain a clean drivers license. Some knowledge of plumbing and electrical skills.
