**BACKGROUND CHECK REQUIRED***

VOLUNTEER POSITION ONLY

*Duties:**

Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions to students in need of academic support

Develop and implement effective lesson plans tailored to individual students' needs

Utilize learning technology and educational software to enhance the learning experience

Teach students of various ages, including elementary to middle school students, in a variety of subjects

Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active learning and engagement

Collaborate with other tutors and other support staff to ensure students receive comprehensive instruction

Monitor student progress and adjust tutoring strategies as needed

Provide ongoing support and encouragement to help students reach their full potential

*Qualifications:**

Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education/Elementary Education (preferred)

Proven experience working with students in an educational setting

Strong knowledge of curriculum development and instructional strategies

Experience with special education and adapting teaching methods to meet the needs of students with diverse abilities

Familiarity with classroom management techniques and the ability to maintain a positive and organized classroom environment

Ability to use learning technology and educational software effectively

Experience with adult education and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of adult learners

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong lesson planning skills and the ability to develop engaging and interactive lesson plans

Experience with childcare and the ability to work with children of various ages

Commitment to providing high-quality education and support to students
