Job Type: Full-Time

Location: Four Seasons Environmental, Inc. - National Bio and Agro-Defense Facility: Manhattan, Kansas

Pay: $29.34/hr. plus fringe benefit of $9.87/hr.

Hours: Monday to Friday - Time TBD

Job Overview:

The Custodial Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all janitorial services within the customer facility, ensuring cleanliness and maintenance of facilities according to the highest standards of hygiene and safety. This role involves managing custodial staff, planning cleaning schedules, and ensuring the use of appropriate cleaning methods and materials.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement janitorial policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective cleaning services.

Supervise janitorial staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating performance.

Conduct regular inspections of facilities to assess cleanliness and adherence to established standards.

Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring availability and proper use.

Coordinate with other departments to schedule cleaning activities around other operations, minimizing disruption.

Address and resolve any issues related to cleanliness or maintenance promptly.

Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.

Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certification or degree preferred.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in janitorial services, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.

Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and materials.

Strong leadership and people management skills.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Familiarity with health and safety regulations

Employees may be subject to immunization and testing requirements pursuant to Client and current Company requirements.

Employees must meet the requirements of the federal credentialing process to access the facility, which includes but is not limited to, obtaining facility access (aka PIV card, smart card, access card, badge) and meeting ongoing training and access requirements.

Employees may be required to participate in the select agent program which would include additional background investigations, training, and performing work in a bio containment facility, as well as meeting ongoing program requirements to maintain eligibility and compliance.
