Overview
The Regional Water Resources Leader is responsible for developing, growing, and leading the DFW Texas Water Resources practice. This senior-level role combines technical expertise in water resources engineering with practice-building, team leadership, and client development. The leader will represent the firm to clients, partners, and industry organizations while ensuring excellence in project delivery and strategic growth. This is a full-time position paid on a salary basis.

Parkhill is one of the largest architectural and engineering firms in the Southwest with14offices located throughout Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma. Responsibilities
Develop, grow, and lead the Dallas-Fort Worth Water Resources practice, building expertise in hydrology, hydraulics, conveyance, storage, groundwater, and water/wastewater treatment
Partner with Parkhill's Marketing and Business Development teams to create and execute a regional business development plan aligned with the Civil Engineering Division strategy
Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, partners, and industry leaders
Represent the firm as a technical expert in client meetings, interviews, and industry forums
Collaborate across office locations to leverage Parkhill's collective water resources expertise
Mentor staff, ensuring consistent application of Parkhill's keystone habits and technical excellence
Serve as Senior Project Manager or Project Principal on major water resources projects, providing technical oversight Qualifications
Bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering from an accredited university
Licensed Professional Civil Engineer (PE) in Texas
Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in Water Resources and/or water/wastewater treatment
Detailed understanding of engineering project management methos with the ability to plan a project from start to finish, considering time, cost, and resources
Experience working with state, regional, and/pr public agencies - municipalities, water districts, river authorities, counties, and/or state agencies
Expert level knowledge of environmental regulations and workplace safety regulations
Proven success in practice growth, client development, and business acquisition
Strong technical expertise in hydrology, hydraulics, drainage, water/wastewater, and related civil engineering solutions
Excellent analytical skills to evaluate their observations to design a system that will withstand the elements on the installation site.
Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship management skills
