Location: Kentwood, LA
Pay: $26 Hourly
Schedule: Monday to Friday 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM
Flexibility required for overtime and weekends based on business needs.
Shift differential: 6%-8% of base hourly rate for applicable hours worked
Responsibilities:
Operate designated production equipment efficiently.
Perform pre/post trip inspections of vehicles, document findings, and maintain equipment cleanliness.
Manage inbound traffic for direct deliveries/customer pickups and assign to loading docks.
Keep an accurate inventory of trailers, including empty bottles and loaded products.
Ensure the Warehouse Team has access to trailers for unloading/loading.
Reposition tractors and trailers within the yard as needed.
Support the Production Team's operational needs.
Transport trailers from suppliers to appropriate locations.
Follow DOT regulations and Company Safety Policies while operating equipment.
Maintain cleanliness in the yard, shipping, and facility areas (5S).
Qualifications:
Experience operating yard trucks and in commercial driving.
Production environment experience, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
Valid CDL Class A license with current DOT Medical certification is required.
Meet Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration driver qualifications.
Strong focus on safety and quality with a sense of urgency.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.
Physical capability to safely lift items and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Forklift experience is preferred.
