Middle School Computer Science Teacher

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Candidate will have appropriate certification in Computer Science or Math
Teach computer science concepts and skills to students, covering topics such as programming and coding, digital literacy, hardware/software fundamentals, and other relevant subjects.
Utilize various teaching methods, resources, and technology tools to enhance the learning experience.
Design assessments to measure student understanding and progress.
Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and parents.
Incorporate technology tools and resources into lessons to enhance learning and prepare students for the digital age.
Establish and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment. QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree
Possess MA teaching license in Computer Science, 5-8 or Math 5-8, 5-12
SEI endorsement Required
Knowledge of current teaching methods; educational pedagogy, as well as differentiated instruction based upon student learning styles
Ability to think critically, problem-solve, backwards plan, analyze; use data and prioritize the needs of the student
Teaching experience with a proven track record of producing dramatic achievement gains is ideal

Salary: $54,371 - $97,866
