Job Full Description

We are currently looking for a qualified Cherry Picker/Order Picker for a company located in Hardeeville, SC.

Pay: $17.00/hr.

Schedule: M-F 9am-6pm (with rotating Weekends from 2am-8am)

Job Responsibilities:

1. Daily Supervision of Warehouse Staff

o Oversee and guide warehouse staff in performing daily tasks, ensuring productivity and adherence to workflows.

o Assign tasks to team members based on priorities and operational needs, adjusting as necessary to meet daily goals.

o Monitor team performance, providing on-the-spot coaching to ensure quality and efficiency in all activities.

2. Compliance with Procedures and Safety Standards

o Ensure that all team members adhere to established warehouse procedures and safety protocols.

o Conduct routine checks to identify potential hazards or compliance issues and take corrective actions when necessary.

o Report any safety incidents or concerns to the Department Manager, supporting follow-up and resolution efforts.

3. Point of Contact for Team Issues

o Serve as the main contact for team members regarding questions, issues, or needs during shifts.

o Communicate operational updates, challenges, and priorities to team members effectively.

o Escalate complex issues to the Department Manager when additional support or intervention is required.

Qualifications:

- 50+ lbs, being able to stand for longer periods of time

- Able to train on equipment
