Are you a detail-oriented and passionate healthcare professional ready to play a vital role in surgical procedures and patient care? We're seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our surgical services team in Federal Way, Washington. As an essential member of the operating room, you'll assist surgeons and nurses in delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.

Perioperative Technician What You'll Do

Prepare the Operating Room

Ensure the surgical suite is sterile and set up with the correct instruments, equipment, and supplies for each procedure.

Assist During Surgery

Work directly with surgeons by passing instruments, holding retractors, and anticipating needs during procedures.

Maintain Sterile Environment

Uphold strict aseptic technique and infection control practices to ensure patient safety.

Support Post-Operative Care

Help with surgical instrument cleaning, room turnover, and preparing the OR for the next patient.

Collaborate with the Surgical Team

Work closely with surgeons, RNs, anesthesiologists, and other OR staff to ensure smooth and successful surgeries.

Qualifications

Education & Certification:

Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Experience:

Previous experience in a hospital or surgical center is preferred

Experience with general, orthopedic, or laparoscopic procedures is a plus Skills:

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

Ability to remain calm and focused in fast-paced environments
