Brake Press Operator

We are seeking experienced Brake Press Operators for a local manufacturing facility. These are direct hire openings on 2nd and 3rd shift with OT potential. Our client is offering a competitive starting pay and excellent benefit package.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following; other duties may be assigned:

Set up and operate Press Brake to form parts in accordance with blueprint specifications and work instructions.

Read and interpret blueprints and work operations sheets to determine appropriate operations to be performed; Completes forming responsibilities which may include offsets, large radii and standard bends.

Use inspection gauges such as calipers (both dial and vernier), micrometers, squares, and height gauges to perform quality checks on parts Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Must be able to read and interpret blueprints

Must be able to demonstrate proficiency with inspection tools

Must have good work history
