Location Requirements:

Candidate must be local to the area or willing to relocate/commute to Atlanta, GA.

The Oracle Cloud Architect will be responsible for designing, deploying, and supporting Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and applications. This role will involve close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions are aligned with business goals, objectives, and technology standards. The architect will proactively design cloud-oriented solutions, ensuring that architectural governance is followed and supporting business needs across various cloud-based services.

Key Responsibilities:

Architect and design Oracle Cloud solutions, focusing on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and applications.

Develop and maintain architecture blueprints, strategies, and roadmaps for cloud-based projects.

Collaborate with business and technical teams to assess, plan, and deliver solutions that meet business requirements.

Lead implementation efforts for Oracle Cloud Fusion, including security, data migration, integration, and performance optimization.

Provide leadership in identifying and resolving cloud infrastructure and service-related issues.

Create detailed technical documentation and disaster recovery plans for incident management.

Ensure solutions are in line with emerging technology trends and cloud best practices.

Guide and mentor development teams on cloud architecture principles and provide expert advice on risks and opportunities. Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Minimum of five years of experience in Oracle Cloud development, including architecture, network management, and security.

Experience with implementing Oracle Cloud Fusion as a Cloud Architect.

Expertise in cloud computing concepts, architectures, and deployment models.

Proficiency in cloud service deployment, management, and optimization, particularly Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

Strong knowledge of cloud security practices, compliance standards, and governance.

Hands-on experience with scripting and automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible.

Experience with cloud networking, storage, and database services.

Understanding of the system development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies (Agile, DevOps, Waterfall, etc.).

Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) and ITIL principles.
