Summary - This is an entry-level position that mostly consists of web content data entry and some design. Considerable experience in Photoshop and InDesign is preferred but may expand skills while on the job. Individuals will learn about the Studies Weekly Product and be expected to translate print media into an online format. During the employee's 90 days, training on how to access and edit the back-end and front-end of our product will be substantial. Knowledge of basic coding is preferred but not required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities -
Translating the print product to an online format for customer use
Requesting art assets, audio, and video creation from other departments
Creating curriculum-aligned printables for student use
Checking own work against company standard and verifying other's work within the Web Content Department
Entry level
Option to work part-time (if approved by Manager)
This position is hourly
Able to react to change productively and handle other duties as assigned
Regular and predictable attendance
Participate in professional development, not less than 12 hours per year Education and Experience -
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
Knowledge of Google Platforms
Comfortable using Apple Software
Some Coding Experience (not required)
Great attention to detail and organization skills
Spanish-Speaking is a plus.
Physical Demands -
The employee is required to talk, hear and see. At times, this position requires the employee to stand, sit, bend, stoop, crawl, kneel, ascend and descend stairs. Also to reach with arms and hands, and use hands and fingers to feel, handle, and manipulate keyboard keys. The employee is also required to lift up to 20 lbs. Company travel may be required by car, plane, or other means of transportation."
