What You'll Do

As a Safety & Security Officer, you'll be the front line of safety across our facilities, helping to maintain peace of mind for everyone who walks through our doors. You will:

Patrol buildings and grounds to ensure a safe and secure environment.

Monitor facility access-ensuring the right people are in the right places at the right times.

Protect life and property by identifying and addressing unsafe or suspicious activity.

Respond to emergencies such as medical incidents, disturbances, or weather-related events calmly and efficiently.

Collaborate with team members, administrators, and local law enforcement when needed to resolve issues quickly and professionally.

Document incidents accurately and follow through on safety procedures.

Foster a culture of safety and respect, modeling professionalism and care in every interaction. What You Bring

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Background in security, law enforcement, or military service preferred.

Strong communication skills-able to listen, lead, and de-escalate with empathy.

Excellent judgment and critical thinking in high-pressure situations.

Ability to work independently while remaining a strong team player.

Valid U.S. driver's license with insurable driving record.

Must be able to pass a background and criminal history check. Physical Requirements

This role is active and hands-on. You'll be moving throughout our facilities and responding where needed:

Frequent walking, stair climbing, and outdoor patrols in all weather.

Ability to lift 40 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally.

Bending, twisting, crawling, and standing or sitting for long periods.
