Assistant Maintenance Manager
Pay: Based on Experience
Hours: Must be Flexible
Key Responsibilities
Supervises maintenance in accordance with plant policies and procedures
Promotes safety, productivity, quality, and efficiency
Improves equipment reliability through the use of Predictive/Preventative Techniques
Responsible for installation of new equipment and/or overhaul of current equipment
Works with outside vendors and contractors in scheduling audits, and inspections
Conducts employees’ transfers, disciplinary actions, evaluations, and training
Follows all proper protocol when issuing POs and requisition forms in Chase
Meet budgetary goals while maintaining plant equipment and appearance to the highest standard
Assists in other departments as needed
Ensure food safety, quality and legality requirements are met
Promotes and assists in professional and personal growth of all plant employees Physical Requirements
Extensive mobility and excellent physical condition; ability to lift 75 lbs.; ability to operate all necessary hand tools; ability to kneel, crouch, climb, crawl, etc. to reach items in need of repair; ability to drive forklift, yard dog, and truck; tolerance to all extreme weather conditions, such as very hot or very cold temperatures Skills & Knowlege

In-depth knowledge of facility operations, people, products, and equipment
Knowledge of federal, state, and local requirements and guidelines necessary to operating a raw processing facility
