School Psychologist (Elementary Level) - East Walpole, MA

Location: East Walpole, MA (serving two elementary schools within 5-10 minutes of each other)

Position Type: Full-Time

Schedule : Monday-Friday, school hours (8:30 AM-3:00 PM and 9:00 AM-3:30 PM depending on building).

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to support students in grades K-5 across two elementary school buildings. The School Psychologist will play a key role in conducting evaluations, supporting IEP/504 development, providing counseling services, and collaborating with staff, parents, and students. This position offers a stable Monday-Friday schedule with no weekends or on-call responsibilities, health benefits, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in students' academic and personal growth.

Responsibilities

Conduct psychological and educational evaluations for special education eligibility and IEP development.

Actively participate in IEP and 504 teams, including meetings and planning.

Provide IEP-based counseling services to students.

Consult with staff, parents, and students as needed.

Participate in pre-referral and professional development activities.

Support Medicaid billing requirements.

Provide crisis intervention when needed.

Carry out other related duties as assigned. Qualifications

Active School Psychologist license in Massachusetts (or eligibility before start date).

Strong understanding of educational psychology, behavioral interventions, and special education processes.
