Part-Time Security Specialist

Compensation: $17.00 - $18.50 Hourly

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Specialist to protect our property and ensure the safety of our employees, visitors, and the community. In this role, you will be responsible for safeguarding against fire, theft, and vandalism, while enforcing company policies and assisting visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and control access to company premises, including greeting and directing visitors.

Conduct regular patrols of both the interior and exterior of the facility, ensuring safety and security protocols are followed.

Respond promptly to emergency calls and provide assistance as needed.

Maintain vigilance through monitoring CCTV systems and alarm systems.

Inspect and report any discrepancies, safety hazards, or security violations to supervisors.

Complete necessary documentation accurately, including security logs and incident reports.

Assist in maintaining a tidy and secure environment in assigned areas.

Enforce inspection protocols for packages entering and leaving the facility.

Actively engage with employees, visitors, and emergency personnel in a professional manner.

Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent is required.

Preferred 6 months of security or related experience.

Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with diverse individuals.

Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.

Capability to perform physical tasks and remain alert during shifts.
