Job Summary:
We are looking for passionate and team-oriented Licensed Practical Nurses to provide holistic care and make a meaningful impact on patients' lives. In this role, you'll have the autonomy to serve as the primary nurse for a provider, ensuring patient comfort and effective communication throughout their healthcare journey. Work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, Advanced Practice Provider, or Physician to deliver quality care.
Responsibilities:
Ensure the health, comfort, and safety of patients.
Document thorough medical histories from patients.
Contribute to patient assessments and administer medications or treatments as ordered.
Provide technical support to healthcare professionals.
Counsel patients and families on prevention and treatment plans, under the direction of a registered nurse.
Qualifications:
Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
Current unencumbered LPN license with State Nursing board or multi-state licensure privileges.
For positions requiring IV therapy, graduation from a Board approved AASPN program or completion of an approved IV Therapy course is needed.
