Pay: $25.00/hr.

Shift: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM

Position Overview

Snelling is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Outbound Lead to join our client's warehouse operations team. In this role, you will help manage outbound shipping activities, lead and support a team of warehouse associates, and ensure that customer orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on time. This position requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

Lead daily outbound operations, ensuring timely and accurate shipments.

Assign tasks, set priorities, and provide training and guidance to outbound team members.

Collaborate with warehouse, inventory, and customer service teams to coordinate order fulfillment.

Ensure compliance with shipping regulations, including customs documentation and hazardous material handling.

Oversee packaging, labeling, and loading procedures to prevent damage or loss.

Monitor and evaluate team performance, providing feedback and support for continuous improvement.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area, enforcing housekeeping standards.

Perform data entry and update warehouse management systems (WMS) as needed.

Respond to emails and communications within 24 hours during working hours.

Support operational flow, including physical movement of products, as needed.

Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications

Required:

High School Diploma or GED

Minimum 3 years of warehouse experience, including at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory role

Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for long periods, bend, stoop, and work at heights (up to 22 ft)

Willingness to work in varying temperatures and climb mobile stairs regularly Preferred:

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)

Strong leadership and team management skills

Proven experience in outbound shipping operations

Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills

Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment

This is a physically active role in a fast-paced warehouse setting. You must be able to lift, bend, stand, climb, and operate at heights safely while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
