Unarmed Fireguards for Special Events

Doyle Security Services, Inc. (DSS) is seeking experienced F-03 Fireguards / Security Officers in the New York City area for Special Events.

PAY RATE: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour

SCHEDULES: Day, Afternoon, Overnight

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Monitor access points and conduct thorough security checks

Crowd management, including controlling entry and exit points and ensuring proper flow of attendees

Provide a safe and welcoming environment for guests and attendees

Follow access control procedures as directed

Maintaining exceptional communication, hospitality, and interpersonal skills

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel.

Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AT ENTRY

High School Diploma or G.E.D. Security or related experience or customer service knowledge and college level education can be substituted for work experience. REQUIREMENTS:

Must be at least 18 years of age

Must have F-03

Valid NYS Security Guard License

Must be available to work weekends

Must be able to stand for long periods of time

Must be Bilingual in English and Spanish

Must have exceptional Customer Service Skills

Must be able to verbally de-escalate situations

Reliable transportation

Must be able to understand the English and Spanish languages and communicate it effectively in both the verbal and written form
