Weekend Shift TIG Welder

TIG Welder – Up to $36/hour Anoka, MN

Join a leading manufacturer serving the food industry! We’re looking for a skilled TIG Welder to produce high-quality, custom equipment in a dynamic, precision-driven environment.

What You’ll Do

Perform TIG and MIG welding on thin stainless steel components.

Fabricate custom, short-run, and prototype equipment for food industry applications.

Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Apply strong math skills for precise measurements and welding tasks.

Execute intricate welding processes—both manual and machine—to meet exacting standards.

Operate welding equipment, adjust machine settings, and use a variety of hand tools and measuring instruments.

Handle fixturing and set-up as needed for complex fabrications.

What We’re Looking For

Experience: 7+ years of welding experience.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in TIG and MIG welding, especially with food-grade stainless steel.

Certifications: Welder qualifications per ASME Section IX and/or AWS D1.1 for GTAW, FCAW, and/or GMAW in Horizontal, Vertical, and All Positions.

Additional Skills: Ability to read blueprints and apply strong math skills for precision work.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Anoka, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $36.00/hr.
