Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Informaticist to enhance healthcare quality and efficiency through innovative technology solutions. This role focuses on improving patient safety, healthcare delivery, quality reporting, and nursing processes by leveraging process improvement and change management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the vital link between clinical teams and technology, acting as the on-site expert for clinical workflows and system functionality.

Collaborate with providers and clinicians to implement new systems, troubleshoot issues, and optimize workflows to achieve positive health outcomes.

Communicate electronic medical record (EMR) updates and educational opportunities to clinical staff.

Coordinate EMR optimization initiatives with department leaders and champion enhancement requests, working closely with corporate informatics and analysts.

Manage security requests for EHR access and assist with system troubleshooting and downtime preparation.

Analyze clinical data to identify trends and respond to reporting needs.

Review existing systems and workflows, recommending improvements to enhance efficiency.

Educate staff on new implementations and serve as an escalation point for clinical technicians. Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Health Information Management, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.

Certification in Health Informatics (such as CPHIMS or CAHIMS) is a plus.

3-5 years of clinical or relevant experience required.

Experience with data systems is preferred. Requirements:

Completion of a Mandatory Reporter course at hire or within six months.

Compliance with all federal, state, and professional licensure and regulatory training requirements.

Adherence to organizational compliance programs and policies.

Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
