ECAD Librarian and PCB Designer

Basic Qualifications
Associate's degree or equivalent
Minimum 7 years of relevant ECAD/PCB design experience
U.S. citizenship required due to the nature of the work

Join the Undersea Systems team as an ECAD Librarian and PCB Designer, supporting the development of Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs) for high-reliability undersea communication systems. This role blends ECAD library management with hands-on PCB design activities and close collaboration with engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing partners.
Role & Position Objectives
Candidates are encouraged to apply if they possess any of the following preferred experiences:
At least 2 years of experience with Mentor Graphics Xpedition
Experience with library management workflows
Hands-on experience with ECAD/PCB layout design processes What Sets You Apart
Proficiency with PCB design tools from the Mentor Graphics suite (xDM, Xpedition, DXdatabook, BoardStation, HyperLynx) or Altium
Strong library management skills, including:
• Xpedition parts request workflows
• Footprint Expert Enterprise 23
• Creation of 3D models in SolidWorks, NX, or CREO
• HyperLynx analysis
Circuit design and hands-on prototyping experience
Working knowledge of IPC and manufacturing standards
Deep understanding of CCA fabrication techniques and the ability to liaise with suppliers for design clarification
Experience with schematic capture in Xpedition
Ability to generate complete documentation packages, including BOMs, ODB++ files, and 3D models Our Commitment to You
