The Role

You will operate state-of-the-art plastic extrusion equipment to produce high-quality specialty films. Working in a collaborative environment, you'll monitor production quality, troubleshoot equipment issues, and participate in our comprehensive training program while contributing to sustainable packaging solutions that make a real difference.

Schedule: Work only 15 days per month with our unique 2-2-3 schedule

Work: Monday & Tuesday - Off: Wednesday & Thursday - Work: Friday, Saturday, & Sunday

Off: Monday & Tuesday - Work: Wednesday & Thursday - Off: Friday, Saturday, & Sunday

12-hour static shifts (Nights - 6:00pm - 6:00am) What You'll Do

Performs duties in a manner that adheres to safety policies and procedures.

Mechanical Aptitude to be able to solve machine problems.

Maintain good interaction and teamwork with supervisor and co-workers

Proven leadership ability

Associate's degree or equivalent job experience

Lean manufacturing experience preferred

Additional education in Manufacturing, Engineering, or Management related field preferred.

Strong communication skills

Three to five years in progressively responsible positions required. What You'll Bring

Essential Qualifications:

hysical ability to stand, walk, bend, pull and lift throughout a 12- hour period. (Our lift limit is 65lbs)

Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen

Focus on safety and quality production

Strong communication skills

Ensures plant is operating safely and all safety precautions are being taken by employees.

Responsible for the management of a shift of employees by assigning responsibilities, delegating tasks and responsibilities and training and development for employees.

Promotes an inclusive workplace culture.

Motivates, supports, and provides guidance to production staff.

Assures quality and maximum operating conditions.

Proven safety habits, leadership abilities, proven professional behavior, reliable and dependable

Sound team-based job performance with good interpersonal skills and a decisive focus on the development of others.

Conducts performance evaluations and makes recommendations of assigned staff at the discretion of the Production Manager.

Oversees shift to ensure production is running lean and staying on schedule.

Performs daily audits and reports any issues in a timely matter.

Promote continual KPI improvements and active contribute to a culture of innovation, excellence and accountability.

Continuous Improvement mindset. Drive projects and team to excellence.

Other duties as assigned. Preferred Qualifications:

1-3 years of plastic extrusion experience

Basic computer knowledge

3+ years in leadership experience

Previous manufacturing experience Compensation & Benefits

Starting Salary:

Wages up to $33.00 per hour, dependent on experience.

Additional $2.50 per hour night shift differential. Total Rewards:
