Job Summary
Entrance gate Attendant is responsible for managing the front entrance gates and serving as part of the Biosecurity Equine Health Compliance Team. The Attendant will also act as a greeter, ensuring smooth equine entry operations and informative guidance to guest across the property.
Primary Responsibilities:
Guest Experience & Service StandardsGreeting guests with warmth, enthusiasm, and professionalism
Providing information and directions to various events and locations on campus
Review and verify equine health documents and certificates from both U.S. and international
sources
Operate Apple iPads for compliance and communication tasks
Communicate effectively via telephone and portable handheld radio
Maintain a welcoming and professional demeanor during both slow and busy periods
Maintain established biosecurity protocols and ensure compliance with equine health standards Additional Requirements
Must be comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
Familiarity with equine documentation and health certificates
Maintain discretion when handling guest personal documentation/information
Ability to work independently and adapt to varying levels of activity
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Comfortable standing for extended periods
Proficient in using Apple iPads
Assertive, reliable, and a collaborative team player
Availability to workday, evening, weekends, holidays and assist with short notice callout Qualifications, Education, Experience, Skills, and Abilities:
Hospitality experience preferred
Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
Strong interpersonal and communication skill
