The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has a career opportunity within the Montana State Hospital.

The RN Staffing Manager provides direct supervision and oversight to the Staffing Office. Additionally, this role ensures optimal shift coverage, cost-effective resource use, and compliance with labor regulations - while keeping patient care and employee satisfaction front and center.

Qualifications for this Career Opportunity

Ability to analyze, assemble and organize information

Knowledge and understanding of best practices in staffing and timekeeping fundamentals

Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing

Ability to efficiently use PC and functionality in the use of computer communication technology

Proficient in the use of computer software such as Word, Excel, and Outlook

Meet minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration or equivalent

Active Montana RN license

Three years supervisory experience

Strong knowledge of hospital operations and clinical staffing models

Proficient with HR, scheduling, payroll, and workforce analytics software

Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and multi-tasking skills How to Apply
