Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field preferred
Minimum of 3 years of inventory management experience
Advanced knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices
Advanced Excel skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
High attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication skills, including presenting findings to management
Proficiency with inventory management software and related systems
Strong organizational and planning skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Strong leadership skills with experience building or managing a team Key Responsibilities Inventory Management & Reporting (60%)
Develop and implement companywide inventory management programs
Support implementation of inventory processes within the new ERP system
Develop strategies to maintain optimal inventory levels
Conduct daily/weekly/monthly/yearly inventory reconciliations and enter all adjustments
Process inventory adjustment requests from Customer Service and Production Entry
Prepare reports on inventory levels, losses, and performance metrics
Maintain Bill of Materials accuracy
Monitor item records for accurate safety stock settings
Validate inventory reports against the general ledger and make corrections as needed
Manage and serve as backup to the Production Entry Specialist
Perform company trace exercises
Provide departmental support as needed
Collaborate with IT on implementation of scanning procedures Harvest Inventory & Reporting (20%)
Work with receiving stations to collect daily incoming and outgoing load reports
Communicate with growers regarding daily fruit deliveries
Update grower master file with binned/payable weights
Reconcile fruit pounds at freezer locations
Upload reconciled fruit pound data into operating systems
Oversee the Harvest Inventory Control team
Serve as liaison between Cold Storage and Processing teams regarding fruit segregation plans and results Personal Growth & Communication (15%)
