Hourly Pay Range: $37.25-$41.00

**All Applicants must comply with ITAR Requirements. US Citizens or Permanent Residents only**

Summary: Reporting to the Head of Machining Operations, the Machinist III is responsible for operating manual and CNC machine tools, including 5-axis gantry mills, vertical and horizontal milling centers, horizontal and vertical turning centers, etc. in support of production and development machining. Critical thinking and collaboration are required to evaluate and resolve unique equipment and product issues in a demanding production environment.

Core Responsibilities:

All functions of a Machinist II

Communicate with other departments to keep product flowing

Ensure the personnel and equipment are available to achieve the safety, quality, and productivity standards of the workcenter

Proper selection of tools per application

Apply understanding of CAM programs including but not limited to: Mastercam, Fusion 360

Apply advanced understanding of probe cycles and functions

Read and interpret customer and internal drawings related to checking parts

Inspect 1st article parts that do not require CMM, GOM, VeriSerf layout Additional Responsibilities:

Other duties as assigned Qualifications:

Must be able to comply with ITAR and EAR residency requirements

Demonstrated knowledge of machining procedures and practices

Experience in using and/or programming manual, semi-automated or automated tools and machines (lathes, grinders etc.)

Proven track record of operating safe facilities.

Fluent in English; Bi-lingual is a plus Education/Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent

A minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment operating CNC mills and lathes.
