Linguist (Mandarin) with Security Clearance

We are seeking a highly skilled Mandarin Linguist with expertise in cybersecurity and technical translation to support mission-critical government operations.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate superior Mandarin language proficiency (Level 5 Reading/Writing), experience translating sensitive documents, and an understanding of cyber and technical terminology.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Translate written and verbal communication between Mandarin and English, and vice versa.

Provide high-quality translations of documents including briefings, emails, and reports-especially on cybersecurity and technical subjects.

Use both simplified and traditional Mandarin characters with fluency.

Support cybersecurity-related projects by applying knowledge of government cyber missions and terminology.

Collaborate with analysts and cyber professionals to ensure accuracy and context in all translated materials.

Leverage experience as a government linguist to support operational and strategic initiatives.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Poly.

Level 5 proficiency in Mandarin (reading and writing). Demonstrated fluency in both simplified and traditional Mandarin characters.

Prior experience producing professional translations in a cybersecurity or technical environment.

Familiarity with government cyber missions or operations.

Knowledge of cyber and technical terminology.

Previous experience as a linguist in a government setting.

Understanding of customer operations and mission requirements.

Knowledge of specific C target (as applicable). Experience supporting intelligence or defense agencies.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience).
