Lab Assistant

Assists senior lab personnel withanimal colony, science experiments, poster preparation and maintenance ofinventory of lab supplies such as reagents, pipets and restock supplies.

Knowledge of basic scientific technology

Good oral and written communication skills

Ability to manage and maintain animal colony

Genotyping and provide mutant mouse for further experiment

Knowledge of basic laboratory safety requirements

Computer skills dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of information

Analytical skills necessary to operate laboratory computers, printers and laboratory equipment

Self-directed with the ability to work independently

Ability to read and perform basic math calculations

Perform routine lab work/tasks assigned by PI and supervisor

High School Diploma or equivalent withno experience required

PreferredBachelor's degree and one year of directly related experience
