Wahlquist Jr High - Long Jump/High Jump Track & Field Coach

A position has been declared open in the Weber School District for a Long Jump/High Jump Track & Field Coach. This position is for miscellaneous hours per day, per season (please speak to Administration to confirm).

THIS POSITION WILL REMAIN OPEN UNTIL FILLED, AFTER A MINIMUM OF 5 WORKING DAYS.

Must be able to work with students, community and peers and promote a positive manner in bringing all these groups together.

Previous coaching experience is desired.

Must have an excellent understanding of the sport.

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Varsity or collegiate level experience is preferred.

Must be able to motivate and inspire kids to be academic athletes.

Must be able to teach student athletes fundamental skills of the sport.

All conditions being equal, a certified employee of the district or an individual who has passed the State Athletic Certification program will be given preference.
