Key Responsibilities

Student Supervision & Engagement:

Provide direct supervision to students during after-care hours from3pm until 6pm.

Create a safe, supportive, and interactive environment for children of various ages.

Facilitate developmentally appropriate games, crafts, and activities.

Act as a positive role model, guiding students in behavior and social interactions. Safety & Compliance:

Uphold and enforce all school policies, rules, and health and safety standards at all times.

Maintain a clean and organized program space, ensuring hygiene standards are met.

Manage the visitor and sign-out process for after-care, overseeing after-hours access.

Be prepared to handle emergencies by knowing and following school and program procedures. Communication & Record Keeping:

Communicate effectively with parents and guardians during pick-up.

Maintain accurate records, including student attendance, incident reports, and other required documents.

Collaborate with other staff, program managers, and school administration, relaying important information. Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience working in daycare or before/after school programs is preferred.

Understanding of child development principles and best practices in childcare.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

This position has an hourly range of $15.00. An employee's pay within the hourly range will be based on many factors including but not limited to: relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and organizational needs.
