Job Summary

Under the supervision of the assigned Administrator or Supervisor, ensure a secure and constructive campus environment by managing non-classroom activities.

Key responsibilities include:

• Campus Surveillance and Security: Conduct patrols across the school campus, parking areas, and facilities to ensure the safety and well-being of all students, staff, and visitors.

• Behavioral Compliance: Monitor and enforce student adherence to all school and District rules and procedures.

• Conflict Resolution and Intervention: Actively promote and apply modern safety intervention and restorative practices to de-escalate situations and resolve conflicts constructively.

• Traffic Management: Regulate and enforce traffic and parking regulations to maintain order and safety around the school grounds.

• Supplemental Support: Execute additional job-related duties as assigned to support the overall functioning of the campus safety system.

Requirements / Qualifications

Certificate Copy (Certificate - School Security Officer Training (SB 390) OR Campus Law Enforcement Course (PC 832g). In compliance with EC 38001.5.)

Certification (POST LEVEL II (PC 832))

Driver's License Copy (Verification of a valid California Driver's License)

Letter(s) of Recommendation (Two (2) recent letters of recommendation are REQUIRED. The letters must be signed and dated within the last two (2) years. Acceptable signatures are: electronic document (Docusign or similar platform) or handwritten signatures. Typed signatures will not be accepted.)

Contingent Employment Offers

Foreign Transcript Evaluation

• If you have coursework from outside the U.S., you must obtain a complete evaluation of foreign transcripts/degrees from one of the approved organizations listed on the District's website before applying, and electronically attach a copy.
