The Business Office Supervisor will be a working leader who actively supports and oversees the Patient Service Representatives within their department and office. This role models excellence in patient experience, takes a proactive approach to resolving patient concerns, and ensures that staff are properly trained, and processes are in place to consistently deliver outstanding customer service.
Duties/Responsibilities:

Supervise and support the Patient Service teams under the direction of the Practice Administrator, ensuring staff are adequately trained and supported. Responsible for reviews, time off requests, discipline, payroll, and career development.
Demonstrate ability to staff department to optimize efficiencies and patient experience.
Provide financial counseling to patients as needed.
Respond to and resolve patient concerns.
Supervise cash receipts and deposit preparation.
Assist patients with registration and paperwork as needed.
Other duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities:

Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience: Minimum one (1) year of experience in an office setting, preferably with healthcare or supervisory experience.
Certificate or Professional License: Must have a current Indiana Navigator certification or obtain it within six months of assuming the position.
Valid driver's license and active auto insurance coverage.
Satisfactory results from criminal and driving record background check.
