Key Job Elements
Monitor and coordinate 6S program and support safety efforts to create/maintain a safe work environment
Enforce 4-step training program
Actively monitor the output of the work-cells for any quality issues, participate in 8D process
Ensure scrap material disposition & labor in the department is accurately completed and documented
Actively participate in collaboration team activities, lead the team on issues pertaining to production, periodically lead team meetings
Ensure daily reporting of production to promise deliver date, upkeep of notes on Production files.
Coordinate staffing levels and the daily activities of the cell-coordinators and operators.
Monitor/coordinate upkeep of the overall cleanliness/orderliness of the manufacturing area
Conduct meetings with Cell Coordinators and operations personnel concerning key manufacturing metrics: safety, quality, productivity and delivery targets
Report issues that may jeopardize on-time delivery and performance to promise deliver date to your Supervisor and Collaboration Team
Ensure efficiency targets and results are understood by all cell coordinators
Ensure reactive downtime notes are kept up to date and report out daily to collaboration team
Read and understand all policies, procedures, work instructions and test instructions associated with the assigned cells/lines.
Periodically fill in for other PA's in his/her absence Requirements
Must be considered an A player
Two years minimum manufacturing experience.
Ability to perform basic math including use of calculators.
Be able to read, write and speak English fluently
Experience with using a computer and or ability to learn basic usage of Microsoft Office Excel and Outlook.
Ability to read and understand manufacturing documentation such as prints, BOM's, routing, and work instructions with minimal assistance. Equal Employment Opportunity
