We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Dining Room Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our dining room and assist with banquet service coordination.
Position Overview: The Dining Room Manager will be responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of the dining room, ensuring an outstanding guest experience. This role also supports banquet functions, manages front-of-house staffing, and oversees inventory, payroll, and vendor orders.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily dining room operations to ensure quality service and customer satisfaction
Assist in planning and executing banquets and special events
Recruit, hire, train, and schedule front-of-house staff
Supervise and mentor staff to maintain high service standards
Monitor and manage inventory; order liquor, wine, and dining supplies as needed
Coordinate linen orders and manage vendor relationships
Process payroll and maintain timekeeping accuracy for front-of-house employees
Collaborate with kitchen and event teams to ensure seamless operations
Qualifications:
Proven experience in restaurant or banquet management (5+ years preferred)
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of liquor and food service industry standards
Proficient in inventory management and POS systems
Payroll or scheduling software experience a plus
