Information Research Scientist

Imagine One Technology & Management is currently seeking an Information Research Scientist “contingent” on award of the associated work to the Imagine One Team. This position supports the U.S. Navy in Lexington Park, Maryland.

The ** Information Research Scientist** will:

Conduct research into fundamental computer and information science as a theorist, designer, or inventor

Develop solutions to problems in the field of computer hardware and software

Conduct research of emerging technologies that fit current Navy standards and architecture and present potential recommendations

Research and develop various assessments, analyses, and studies to include: feasibility studies, gap analyses, roadmaps, etc.

Research, analyze, develop, integrate, and apply integrated model-based virtual environments

Experience Requirements:

Qualifying candidates must possess **ONE** of the following required experience qualifications:

Minimum of five (5) years of experience carrying out duties similar to the functions above

NAVEDTRA 43469 Watchstation 304 - Information Assurance Manager

NAVEDTRA 43469 Watchstation 303 - Information Assurance Technician Level III

** Educational Requirements: **

Qualifying candidates must possess **ONE** of the following required educational qualifications:

Master’s degree in fields of Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Mathematics, Data Science, Physics or related derivative degrees;

NEC 741A Information System Security Manager

CISSP

CISM

CASP+ GSLC

Security Requirements:

Candidates must have U.S. Citizenship

Candidates must have an ACTIVE DoD Secret Clearance (or higher)
