We are looking for an M&A Tax Associate to work for our client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the development and execution of tax strategies related to mergers, acquisitions, and other complex transactions.
Provide consulting services to high-net-worth individuals and families, focusing on estate planning, wealth transfer, and tax optimization.
Conduct tax due diligence and identify potential risks and opportunities in proposed transactions.
Collaborate with legal, financial, and advisory teams to structure deals in a tax-efficient manner.
Research and interpret federal, state, and international tax laws to support strategic planning initiatives.
Prepare and review tax memoranda, reports, and client deliverables.
Stay current on changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on clients and transactions. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
4+ years of experience in M&A tax, estate planning, or high-net-worth tax consulting.
Strong understanding of partnership taxation, corporate tax structures, and estate/gift tax rules.
Excellent research, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple engagements and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with tax software and financial modeling tools is a plus.
