Bereavement care is an essential component of Homeland Hospice’s services that involves providing ongoing support for the bereaved over a period of 13 months. When a loved one passes away, we tend to reach for objects that might steady us, a tangible reminder of the person we have lost. Homeland Hospice would like to provide that tangible reminder in the form of Memory Pillows. Memory Pillows, made from a loved one’s special shirt or other garment, provides not only a visual reminder, but is also something to hug and hold.
