Tasks and Responsibilities:

Working safely with tools and materials

Ensuring quality parts are being formed and passed to the next operation by monitoring coil quality, weld quality, and cut quality

Following work instructions and job traveler requirements

Filling out documentation

Actively seeking methods for improvement

Any other duties assigned by the area Team Lead

Additional required Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes:

Focus on safety of self and other teammates

Focus on quality and NOAC (Next operator as customer)

Strong mechanical aptitude

Ability to work as a member of a team

Flexibility

Accurate utilization of measuring equipment (calipers, ring/plug/GNG, pi tape, tape measure, linear gauge

Welding experience a plus, but not required

Reliable transportation to and from work

Ability to stand for long periods at a time

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or equivalency

Physical: Ability to lift 25-30 lbs. on an infrequent basis
